SCROLL FRAGMENTS REUNITED

JERUSALEM – The Hebrew Bible has gotten a bit of clarification thanks to an accidental discovery!
A dark period in the history of the Hebrew Bible has been illuminated. Two parts of an ancient biblical manuscript separated across centuries and continents have been reunited and placed on display today.
The fragments are 1,300-years-old and are among only a handful of Hebrew biblical manuscripts known to have survived the era in which there were written. They existed separately and their relationship was unknown until a news photograph of one’s public unveiling in 2007 caught the attention of scholars that were integral in their reuniting.
The fragments have come together to make up the text of the Song of the Sea which was sung by jubilant Israelites after fleeing slavery in Egypt. They had just witnessed the destruction of the pharaoh’s armies in the Red Sea.
“The enemy said: ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil. My lust shall be satisfied upon them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them,” reads the song, which appears in the Book of Exodus. “Thou didst blow thy wind, the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.”
Scholars believe that the scroll was written around the seventh century somewhere in the Middle East. It isn’t known how the two parts were separated. One was housed in a rare books library at Duke University and the other was part of a private collection of Stephen Loewentheil of New York.
The manuscripts are “filling the gap,” said Israel Museum curator Adolfo Roitman. “We can see we are dealing with a tradition that is still alive.”
NEW 10 COMMANDMENTS THEORY

ROME – The 10 Commandments – regarded as holy by millions of Christians and Jews around the world – were written by Satan, not God!
That is the controversial claim of a leading biblical scholar who argues that the Evil One cooked up the rules, knowing that most humans would be unable to abide by them – and therefore more souls would end up in Hell!
“Lucifer invented these rules as a diabolical scheme to create more sinners,” declared Dr. Antonio Florio, the author of nearly two dozen books on Old Testament interpretation.
Biblical scholars refer to the 10 Commandments as the Decalogue which is Greek for “the ten words,” according to Dr. Florio, who says most experts agree the origin of the rules is obscure.
“Passages in Exodus and Deuteronomy make it clear that a copy of the Commandments was engraved on two stone tablets, and given to Moses on Mount Sinai,” he said. “But nowhere in the Bible does it state who originally wrote the Commandments.”
While the rules were given to Moses sometime between the 13th and 16th century B.C., Dr. Florio has concluded that they were actually composed thousands of years earlier, shortly after the time of creation.
“A passage in the Dead Sea Scrolls translated in 1974 says that God ordered his ‘most favored angel’ to draw up a list of Commandments for mankind,” the expert said. “It is well known that favorite angel was Lucifer’s position before he was cast out of Heaven.”
“I believe Satan deliberately included provisions no one could be expected to follow, such as not coveting the wife of another man. He knew this would later cause God to damn countless souls.”
Incredibly, Dr. Florio even questions whether the mysterious, unseen being that handed the tablets to Moses truly was God. “Clearly Moses believed the Commandments were delivered by the Almighty – but perhaps he was deceived by the Evil One. Certainly, the figure he describes to the ancient Hebrews is rather sinister. In Deuteronomy 6:22, Moses tells his followers that the figure spoke ‘from the midst of fire, the cloud and the thick of darkness, with a loud voice.’”
Dr. Florio’s thesis has outraged many religious conservatives who still cling to the old assumption that the Commandments were composed by God himself. But others insist it doesn’t really matter.
“Even if Lucifer drafted the 10 Commandments with evil intentions, God – as an omniscient being – must have known what Satan was up to,” a Vatican theologian pointed out. “The fact that the Lord allowed the laws to be given to Man is proof He wished us to follow them to the letter.
“It must all have been part of the divine plan.”

AIR FORCE ACADEMY WORSHIP

DENVER, CO – The Air Force Academy is keeping an open mind when it comes to religion. It has set up an outdoor worship area for followers of Earth-centered religions!
Followers of religions such as Wicca and Druidism will be enjoying a double circle of stones atop a hill on the campus near Colorado Springs to practice their faith. The academy said Monday that chapel staff worked with Tech. Sgt. Brandon Longcrier, who follows the Pagan tradition, to establish the worship area. Sgt. Longcrier is the non-commissioned officer-in-charge of the academy’s astronautics labs.
The academy is no stranger to promoting the idea of freedom of religion. Also located on the campuses are worship facilities for Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists.
Academy superintendent Michael Gould has made religious tolerance a priority. After cadets reported instances of harassment in 2004, the academy shifted its focuses on religion.

5 GREATEST BIBLE MYSTERIES

CHARLESTON, SC – How did Noah get breeding pairs of all the Earth’s animals into a single boat? Where did manna come from? How did Jesus feed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes? How did Christ walk on water? And what really happened to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden?
These great Bible mysteries, which have baffled Christians for over 2,000 years, have finally been solved by Bible experts who concluded after a five-year study that “God’s ways, though often mysterious, are sometimes crystal clear.
“And in the cases of these Bible miracles, there is no mystery at all. All we have to do is open our eyes. The solutions really are there for everyone to see.”
Dr. James Rhodes, Bernadette Carter, Phillip Gaylord, Dr. Margaret Creed and Dr. Robert Stephenson headed up the panel of Bible scholars, theologians and clergymen who examined the mysteries in light of the historical record and current scientific thinking and provided a solution for each of them.
“Our conclusions will seem controversial to some, but they are in no way meant to diminish God’s power and supremacy over everything that was, is and will be,” explained Mrs. Carter.
Here are the experts’ explanations for five great Bible mysteries:
1. How Noah got breeding pairs of every animal on Earth in a single boat.
The solution, say the experts, is simple if you look beyond artists’ conceptions of the event that we have all seen over the years.
“Noah filled the ark mostly with babies and eggs that took up less space and required less food than adult animals,” said Dr. Rhodes.
“It is also safe to assume that the Great Flood, though extensive, didn’t cover the entire Earth as many people believe.
“In the Aramaic that the Bible was originally written in, the story of Noah describes the Flood as covering ‘the world,’ which, when accurately translated, simply means the Middle East.
“So in point of fact, Noah only loaded local animals onto the ark – not every animal on the planet.
2. Where manna came from.
While searching for the Promised Land, Moses and his followers faced great trials and tribulations – including the threat of starvation.
They survived the worst of times eating manna from Heaven – a sugary, bread-like substance that “fell from Heaven.”
In fact, as the experts point out, manna is produced by plants indigenous to the region the group was exiled in. The miracle, of course, is that the plants produced ENOUGH manna to feed thousands of people.
“Outside of a single miraculous incident, this is unheard of,” say Galord. “It truly is a miracle of the first magnitude.”

HOW TO PROTECT KIDS FROM EVIL

You can protect your child from evil supernatural forces by following the advice of a top expert in the paranormal.
“Children face a tremendous risk from unseen malevolent beings,” says respected psychic researcher Joanne Pilsner. “Their open, imaginative minds put them in close contact with the Other Side – and their innocence makes them easy prey.
“It’s important for parents to recognize the warning signs and be prepared to take swift, appropriate action.”
Here, from the expert, are the six forms of unnatural evil most likely to affect your child, and how to combat them:
- SINISTER IMAGINARY FRIENDS. Some “invisible playmates” are actually ghosts, researchers have found. “Quiz your child about the unseen pal,” suggests New York City-based Miss Pilsner. “Ask if the ‘friend’ talks about having hurt people in the past or encourages your child to do dangerous things. If so, firmly tell the youngster he or she can’t play with the spirit anymore.”
- POSSESSED TOYS. Minor demons often get close to children by inhabiting their playthings. Keep a watchful eye on toys and note if they refuse to stay put, or do things – such as talk – that are not mentioned on the box they came in.
Realistic baby dolls are the most frequently possessed, and Slinkys among the least, said Miss Pilsner. “Throw out any toys which appear possessed.”
- HAUNTED BEDROOM. If your child constantly has nightmares or complains about a “bogeyman” in the closet, watch out: There may actually be an evil entity stalking the tot. If the child fears his own room, but sleeps normally at the homes of friends and relatives, have a minister bless the room.
“It’s also important to teach your child to use his own innate psychic abilities to shield himself from evil,” says the expert. “Tell the child to draw with his finger an invisible ‘force field’ that monsters can’t cross. It can really work!”
- POLTERGEISTS. If accidents often occur around your child, with objects breaking every day, this is a sign of poltergeist activity.
Most poltergeists are harmless, and their influence generally fades after the child passes through puberty. Placing sea salt in the corners of each room tends to subdue bad ones.
- DEMONIC POSSESSION. Never allow children to play with occult items such as Ouija boards – they may unwittingly invite a demon into your home. Episodes of violent rage and harming animals are common signs of demonic possession. If you are suspicious, confront your child with a crucifix. If the youngster hisses and tries to flee, contact a clergyman to arrange an exorcism.
- HEXES. If your child suffers frequent unexplained sickness, this is a sign a practitioner of witchcraft has placed a hex on your family. If you suspect a neighbor, ask whether you have offended the person and what you can do to make amends. Said Miss Pilsner, “Once you’ve made amends, most witches will remove the hex.”

HOW TO TELL IF YOU’RE DOUBLE-SOULED

What happens when two souls are reincarnated in a single body?
That is the provocative question that Dr. Sankar Khan is attempting to answer.
“Some individuals are not truly one person, but two,” says Dr. Khan, who’s been conducting reincarnation studies in Mumbai, India, for the past 26 years.
According to Dr. Khna, a reincarnated soul enters its new body when the fetus is at an early stage of development.
“Usually a single soul enters the embryo – but sometimes two spirits, eager to be reborn, each elbow their way into the child.
“When this occurs, the body usually responds and the result is a splitting of the embryo into two, leading to the birth of twins.”
This explains why many identical twins, though raised in the same environment, are polar opposites in personality, he adds. In rare cases the two spirits develop a powerful bond and the flesh refuses to part completely, notes Dr. Khan. “This results in conjoined twins.”
And sometimes physical division fails to take place at all. “When the spirits are very different in nature this can lead to the tragic condition known as ‘multiple personality disorder,’” says the expert. “In these cases there are two radically different persons trapped in one body, taking turns controlling it – totally unaware of one another. In a few instances, more than a dozen souls end up crowded together in a chaotic jumble!”
Normally, however, two souls can co-exist harmoniously.
“Usually one spirit is dominant and the other remains dormant, asserting itself only in times of stress,” says Dr. Khan. “I estimate that this is the case of perhaps 1 in 10 people.
“A telltale sign of such individuals is their tendency to talk to themselves, as they consult their inner companion.”
Occasionally, the seams do show, he adds. “Typically, throughout their lives, double-souled individuals tend to be full of inner conflict.
“Again and again, they find themselves torn between two lovers, two career goals, two dreams of the future.
“Each of their souls pulls them in an opposite direction.”
Are you double-souled?
According to Dr. Khan, you are likely to be double-souled if you:
- Have difficulty making important decisions, swaying first in one direction, then the other.
- Talk to yourself often throughout the day.
- Are ambidextrous.
- Often find yourself in love with more than one person at the same time.
- Frequently “can’t believe” what you did the night before.
- Alternate between using your real name and a special nickname.
- Sometimes sign your name so differently that it is almost unrecognizable.
- Love a song one day and later, can’t stand it.

Demonic possession is no laughing matter – but if you find yourself pitted against one of the 13 most dangerous demons in Hell, watch out!
Anton Szandor LaVey, the former High Priest of the Church of Satan, listed the most powerful of Lucifer’s minions in his notorious book, The Satanic Bible.
“Theologians have cataloged some of the names of devils in their lists of demons, but the roster which follows contains the names most effectively used in Satanic ritual,” wrote LaVey, known to his followers as The Black Pope.
In addition to what he called the “crown princes” of Hell (Satan, the fallen angel Belial and the destructive sea monster Leviathan) LaVey lists other vicious demons who also occupy the “Royal Palace of Hell.”
Here are the 13 of the worst:
ASMODEUS – The orgy-loving ancient Hebrew devil of sensuality.
ASTAROTH – Female demon worshipped by the Phoenicians as the goddess of lasciviousness.
AZAZEL – The demon who taught man to make weapons of war and introduced women to cosmetics.
BALAAM - Hebrew devil of avarice and greed.
BEHEMOTH – Devil said to take the form of a monstrous elephant.
BEEZLEBUB – Disgusting and repulsive Lord of the Flies.
BILE – Eons-old Celtic god of Hell.
CIMERIES – Demon who rides a black horse and rules Africa.
COYOTE - American Indian devil.
DAMBALLA – Evil Voodoo serpent god.
DAGON – Philistine avenging devil of the sea.
MORMO – King of the Ghouls and chief consort of Hecate, the Greek goddess of the underworld and witchcraft.
MICTIAN – Worshiped by the Aztecs as the god of Death.

VATICAN AVATAR

VATICAN CITY – The Catholic Church has slammed the film ‘Avatar’ – for being godless!
The Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, is the “semi-official” newspaper of the Church. It not only covers important Vatican matters, but also discusses more abstract beliefs in Catholicism, as well as review some mainstream media.
The newspaper printed their review of James Cameron’s film “Avatar”, and they were not pleased! The editors devoted three articles in total to covering the film, summing up that it is not only bland and shallow, but also has “few genuine emotions.”
The Vatican Radio was more direct about its dislike, claiming it “cleverly winks at all those pseudo-doctrines that turn ecology into the religion of the millennium.”
In the film, “nature is no longer a creation to defend but a divinity to worship.”
This matches up with Pope Benedict XVI’s warnings against the danger of worshiping nature as a “new divinity.” However, a Vatican spokesman has clearly stated that while the reviews reflect the Pope’s views, he does not officially approve anything printed.
