LL COOL J VS SARAH PALIN AND FOX NEWS

NEW YORK, NY – A well respected entertainer is butting heads with a powerhouse TV network and a former politician!
LL Cool J is a big time rapper and very successful actor. He’s constantly being asked to make appearances, but he was shocked when he was going to appear on Fox News’ “Real American Stories” hosted by Sarah Palin.
Ever since vacating her position as Governor of Alaska, Palin has delved into various interests. She’s recently become a Fox News contributor and she’s been a ratings hit for the network. Set to premier this Thursday, “Real American Stories” will give an insight into the lives of famous faces. Guests will range from Toby Keith to GE CEO Jack Welch to LL Cool J. The only problem is that LL Cool J never consented to appear on the show.
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin. Wow,” the singer/actor tweeted on Tuesday night.
LL Cool J made sure that everyone was aware and re-sent his message nearly two dozen times to various followers in a two-hour span. Fox News has gotten the memo and will be cutting the interview from the show.
“‘Real American Stories’ features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career,” Fox News said in a statement.
Does anyone else seem to believe that Fox News’ statement does not appear to be sincere and completely apologetic? Perhaps next time Fox News and or Sarah Palin want to use someone on one of their shows, they could tell that individual about it. LL Cool J should laugh at Fox News and their complete idiocy and juvenile statement. The other memo they didn’t get is that in the entertainment and music industry, LL Cool J is one of the most respected individuals. Regardless, the only reason Sarah Palin is working out for Fox News, is that everyone is surely waiting for her to commit one of her standard blunders.
EDDIE GOSSAGE’S OFFER TO DJ

DALLAS, TX – One racing exec has come up with a creative way to get press for his track!
Eddie Gossage is the president of Texas Motor Speedway and he’s come up with a way to bring attention to his track. He’s offered local DJ Terry Dorsey $100,000 to not only change his station’s name to TexasMotorSpeedway.com for a year, but to also get a permanent TMS tattoo.
The offer was made yesterday and Gossage gave Dorsey 24 hours to accept. Gossage’s idea is brilliant and if accepted will get him undeniable exposure until 2011. If Dorsey turns it down, well he’d be passing up the easiest $100,000 he’ll ever make.
“Changing my name to TexasMotorSpeedway.com for a year seems absurd, but the offer $100,000 is also a bit out there,” Dorsey said.
As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. However, sometimes, money trumps both actions and words. Dorsey revealed today that he would be accepting the full effect of the offer. Dorsey revealed on his broadcast today that he will be looking into changing the name of his show by Thursday and that he’ll be getting his tattoo live on one of his shows.
Now that’s what you call some clever marketing. Some individuals know no bounds when it comes to making a profit or building an empire.
